Walking in the light with Yahweh - moving away from dependency on material items in life

Are you looking to move away from dependency on material items in life?  Maybe you feel empty and that something is missing or maybe you think from time to time that there must be more to life than this?

There are many people today living in this world who are caught up, just like you, with material things but our true treasure in life is following Jesus Christ who gave his life for us. Just think about that – without him, we wouldn’t have the eternal hope of everlasting life! And, it’s free unlike all the costs of the designer items that you don’t really need.

It takes two to make a relationship work, you can’t have a relationship on your own.  This world as we know it is full of light and dark, good and evil, and to have fellowship with Yahweh (God) means walking in the light.  One way of staying in that light is to confess your sins and ask Yahweh to forgive you and cleanse you from unrighteousness and sin. 

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness - 1 John 1:9

Try keeping a prayer journal or a list so you don't leave anything out. The important thing is to do something that you can stick with and be consistent. Once you let Jesus into your heart, and open up to the light which is Jesus, and ask for forgiveness, you’ll start living in a way that aligns with the life that Yahweh created for us. You’ll become the person you were created to be and not the person you're trying to create yourself.

Following Jesus Christ doesn’t mean life will always be easy but keep the faith and Yahweh will make a way for you.  Stay in that light my friend and live in Yahweh’s presence always. 

This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that Yahweh is light and in Him is no darkness at all - 1 John 1:5
